- Brackley Town won the competition at Wembley last season.
- They also beat Hereford 2-0 in Northamptonshire back in September when the Bulls finished with nine men. That league defeat was Pete Beadle's last league game in charge.

- Hereford are in the second round of the FA Trophy which is being drawn today from 12.45pm.
- The National League clubs enter the competition at this stage.
- The second round will be played on the weekend of January 12.
- The winners of the second round ties will receive £4,000.
- There are four rounds in the competition before a two legged semi-final and then a final at Wembley on May 19.
- The Bulls were knocked out of the competition at the second round stage last season losing 1-0 at Wealdstone.
