BISHOP's pupils came away with a host of medals when they recently attended the Welsh National Indoor Rowing Championships in Cardiff.
In the individual event the pupils took a clean sweep of medals with Henry Fraser taking first place place rowing 1,456 metres in the allotted time, Alfie Wynter second in 1,426m and Theo Lind third with 1,422m.
The school's 'A' relay team were also victorious against strong competition from Cardiff High, Glantaff and Monmouth.
The Bishop’s A team gained a total of 1,357 metres in 1.28.4, while the B team finished fourth.
The school's relay team consisted of Alfie Wynter, Henry Fraser, Jack Hughes and Morgan Churcher.
