HEREFORD’S latest signing James Wesolowski missed today’s FA Trophy match against FC United of Manchester ‘as a precaution’.

The 31-year-old midfielder was due to play a part in the victory but was left in the stands after feeling a tight hamstring in training.

“It’s precautionary really as he met up with us on Thursday and trained with us but was feeling a really tight hamstring towards the end,” said Hereford Head Coach Marc Richards.

“He trained again this morning and just didn’t want to risk it. Hopefully, fingers crossed he will be in contention for the Alfreton game next Saturday.”
