SHOBDON based darts player Jim Williams will play his final group match in the Grand Slam of Darts live on television this evening.
The Herefordshire player who plays in the British Darts Organisation (BDO) events has had a tough weekend losing both of his opening group matches.
On Friday he almost caused an upset pushing second seed Peter Wright to a ninth leg resulting in a 5-4 defeat.
He was in action again yesterday afternoon when he suffered a 5-2 defeat by Josh Payne.
The defeats leave him bottom of the group, but a win in his final match could still see him qualify to the knock-out stages.
Williams will face Max Hopp in his final group match live on Sky Sports from 7pm this evening.
