RICHARD Williams hit a shot of 179 yards to win the Burghill Valley Golf Club Senior Captain's Drive event last month.
This was followed with a Stableford qualifier with the following results:- Division 1 (0 - 16 handicap): 1. Mike Higgins 40 points; 2. Ron Davis 36.
Division 2 (17 - 22 handicap): 1. Bill Bonham 43 points; 2. John Hunt 42.
Division 3 (23 - 35 handicap): 1. John Webley 37 points; 2. Keith Taylor 37 after count-back; 3. David Arnold 36.
