STRIKER Mike Symons has signed on a dual deal with Swindon Supermarine as he looks to regain match fitness.
The 32-year-old striker hasn’t played a competitive game this season after fracturing his tibia in a pre-season friendly against Newport County.
After returning to training he has joined the Evo-Stik Southern Premier side to gain match fitness.
Hereford Head Coach Marc Richards told the club’s official website: “Mike has worked really hard on his recovery.
“Having progressively increased his workload in training over the past few weeks he is now at a stage where he needs to go and get some matches under his belt.
“Swindon have a number of games coming up in a short space of time, and so hopefully he’ll be able to get those minutes in quickly.”
