LEDBURY bounced back to winning ways in the Midlands 3 West (South) league following a 30-18 victory over Coventry Welsh.

After their trip up the M40 it was Ledbury who went into an early lead with Matt Hallett darting under the posts after the ball was stole from their hosts.

The bigger Welsh forwards continued to pummel Ledbury’s defence with hard runners up the middle and eventually forced the visitors into conceding a penalty.

The scores continued to flow steadily with it being very much a tit for tat game, eventually resulting in three tries a piece.

Ledbury were steered to victory by the boot of George Bennion, nailing all three conversions and three penalties to steer his side to victory.

Greyhound picked up their third victory of the season to move themselves away from the bottom three in Midlands 4 West (South).

Elliot Phillips ran over a brace of tries for the Hereford side during their 34-25 win at Redditch.

Further scores came from Luke Pinnel, Neil Clark, Dewi Williams while Kev Murphy kicked four conversions and a penalty.

After suffering their first defeat in the last round of league fixtures Bromyard returned to winning ways with a 17-0 win over Claverdon in a top-half clash.

Greyhound women put up a spirited fight but suffered their first defeat in the Women's Midlands 2 against Dursley Ladies.

After going 14-0 behind a reshuffle of the Greyhound pack saw them come back into the game but despite Emma Downes, Bonnie Smith and Carly Whent tries they were beaten 21-17.
