HUNDREDS of guests gathered as Westfields FC held their 31st annual Sportsman's Dinner last week.
The event which raises vital funds for the club welcomed BBC rugby commentator Ian Robertson as their guest speaker.
He spoke about his years following the British and Irish Lions and told guests that one of his best moments on air as describing Jonny Wilkinson's winning drop-kick in the final of the 2003 World Cup.
The event also included a slot by comedian Lea Roberts.
The evening culminated in a sports auction which raised £3,250 for the club funds.
Items included golfer Justin Rose' cap that he wore during their Ryder Cup victory in France just a week earlier which raised £270.
Other items included a VIP day at Cheltenham (£530), a day pheasant shooting (£290) and a Jonny Wilkinson signed shirt (£300).
Guest also enjoyed a two-course meal and took part in a raffle with prizes including Liverpool football tickets and a Fitbit.
