A HEREFORDSHIRE teenager has been selected for the South East Wales Regional Under-14s hockey squad after impressing selectors with her talent.
Luella Hay, from Ross-on-Wye, was selected after impressing during trials in Cwmbran.
Hay is among six pupils from Monmouth School for Girls who have been chosen to represent the region.
The side begin their campaign on Sunday (September 30) against Cardiff and Vale at Rougemont (10am).
The squad have six fixtures during the season, including matches against West Glamorgan on October 28 and South Wales Valleys on November 18, both at Cwmbran.
