HEREFORD manager Pete Beadle said that ‘incidents change games’ after his side went down to nine-men during their 2-0 defeat at Brackley Town.

Defender Ryan Green claimed he was elbowed prior to James Armson’s 15 minute opener.

That was followed by Eliot Richards’ 44th minute straight red card after he was judged to have stamped on Gareth Dean.

“Incidents change games and up until the first incident of the goal we were in the game, said Hereford manager Pete Beadle.

“The first one on Ryan (Green) the lad has thrown a blatant elbow and I’ve just seen it on video. But the linesman who was two yards away didn’t see it and the referee also said he didn’t see it either.

“After that people fall asleep and Billy (Murphy) loses his runner and the lad has a clear shot at goal, but it’s a foul.

“After that we are in the game and had a share of play and looked a little disjointed at times. Then you have the second incident where Eliot (Richards) is sent off and the referee feels that there player was more of an act of aggression rather than violent conduct which was why it was a yellow.

“But he said that Eliot stamped on the man. Eliot said it was an accident and he was falling over and didn’t deliberately stamp on him.”

“That could also change the game when we go down to 10-men.”

In the second half Hereford were left chasing the game and when a Green was turned by Lee Ndlovu the sriker lobbed a racing Martin Horsell.

With just minutes left on the clock substitute Calvin Dinsley was given a straight red card after a headbutt on Ellis Myles.

“We’re playing a team that won the FA Trophy last season and got into the play-off final so they are no mugs, added Beadle.

“They are just hitting a bit of form at the moment so they’re not going to roll over and die. Right in the 90th minute Dinsley, you can’t condone it or stick up for him.

“It’s a foolish thing to do.”
