JORDAN Liburd has been named as Hereford FC captain for the coming season.
The young centre-half impressed towards the end of last season becoming a regular starter. Defensive partner Ryan Green has been named as his vice-captain.
“Jordan epitomises what we’re asking for, his manner on and off the pitch is superb, his performances are hugely consistent and since he’s been here he’s gained more and more respect from the players, they look up to him," Beadle told the club's official website.
“I don’t think we could have picked a better captain. Jordan will be joined by Ryan as vice-captain, Jordan will be able to use Ryan’s shoulder to lean on, to pick his brains on being a captain, about the role of being a captain.”
