THE under-13 squad at Ledbury Rugby Club got a taste of professional rugby coaching when they were visited by six players from Hartpury RFC.
The stars from the Championship team, which included Darrell Dyer, Alex Ducker, Luke Straford, Harry Cochrane, Will Crane and Aquile Smith spent two hours coaching the team.
The group of 30 boys, aged 12 and 13, received the benefit of these experienced players knowledge during a session which focussed on furthering the boys’ handling skills and support play through a number of drills and games.
Gareth Bubb, the lead coach of Ledbury Under-13s, said: "We are extremely grateful to the Hartpury players for sharing their time and skills with us.
“It was great to see a championship team like Hartpury showing their commitment to grass roots rugby and the boys thoroughly enjoyed the experience and benefitted greatly."
