HEREFORD FC manager Pete Beadle said it was nice to put a show for the Bulls supporters today.
Beadle's mean beat Winchester City 4-0 thanks to goals from John Mills (penalty), Jamie Edge, Jimmy Oates and Bradley Williams.
"To go 41 games and only have one defeat is a mean feat, but I'm sure we disappointed a few people at home with our last few games," said Beadle.
"But the boys produced and I thought the performance was excellent from front to back.
"Everyone was hugely disappointed with last Saturday and we spoke after the game and knew it required a good performance on Monday.
"We were excellent against a good side and again, today, I think we've played a good side.
"I think they have fallen away since their manager left, but a knew one has come in and they're trying to impress him.
"I thought we were superb today."
Beadle added that it was a long wait to be able to lift the Southern League Division 1 South & West shield after being crowned champions four weeks ago.
"It was a long six days since we won it and in between those six games, there's been some iffy performances," said Beadle.
"It's hard to criticise too much because when you've won it and wrapped it up, it's tough.
"But to win it with 107 points and over 100 goals again is remarkable."
