LEOMINSTER left it late to earn a point against Ross-on-Wye in De Cymru & The Marches 1 of the GoCrea8 Hockey League.
Ross opened the scoring in the first half before Ben Morris deflected Jack Roswell's fierce shot to equalise.
Leominster had a chance to go in front just before half time, but saw the ball cleared off the line.
Ross came out all guns blazing in the second half and scored twice from short corners.
But having missed a number of chances as the match moved into the last 10 mins, Leominster reduced the deficit through Ryan Painter.
Then, with time running out, a well taken short corner resulted in Josh Watkins scoring following good work from Nicko Evans.
The result leaves Ross fifth in the division, while Leominster are ninth.
Elsewhere, Hereford were on the wrong end of a 7-2 defeat at Cardiff & Met Fourths.
In Premier Division 2A of the West Club' Women's Hockey League, Hereford slipped to a 4-0 home defeat to Redland UWE, while Leominster drew 2-2 with Blockley in the North Division.
Hereford Seconds and Colwall & Malvern both lost in Severn Division 1 and Ross thrashed Colwall & Malvern Seconds 8-0 in Severn Division 3.
In the South Wales Hockey League, Presteigne romped to a 7-2 win over Howardian Seconds thanks to two goals from Flick Collings and one each from Ellie Williams, Charlie Morris, Gemma Morris, Sioned Price and Jess Goodwin.
