HEREFORD Hockey Club captain Kyle Drew says it is too early to say if his side will stay at the top of De Cymru & The Marches 1 table despite their excellent start.
The city side have won three of their opening four games and are top on goal difference.
"We are doing ok, but it's too soon to predict anything because we're only four games in," said Drew.
"We won't know until the midway point where we're at because we may have played four of their weaker sides.
"But I'm really happy at the minute and it's nice to be playing when you're winning."
Last Saturday, Hereford thrashed Aberystwyth University 7-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Stewart Goodarzi and two goals from Danny Makaruk and Andy Rogers.
It's a different story for Leominster though, who sit second from bottom on two points.
The north Herefordshire side lost 4-3 at home to Cirencester on Saturday.
Elsewhere, Ross-on-Wye went down to a 2-0 home defeat to Cardiff University's second team.
