THERE will be an international flavour at the first meeting of the new season of the Herefordshire Cricket Society.
The guest speaker will be Farokh Engineer, the Bombay born wicket keeper who was capped 46 times for India and represented the Rest Of the World against England in 1970
Engineer was an exciting batsman who, alongside Clive Lloyd, starred in The Lancashire team that dominated the first years of limited over cricket.
The Society meets at Hereford Rowing Club next Thursday at 7.30pm, with new members welcomed.
