PHIL Jones and David Morris have earned the chance to represent Great Britain in Spain after narrowly winning the Audi quattro UK Cup Final at the Bowood Golf & Country Club in Wiltshire.

The Herefordshire pair claimed the victory at Calne by one point and will now compete in the Audi quattro World Cup Final at the Real Club de Golf El Prat in Barcelona over the weekend of October 8 and 9.

Jones and Morros, who scored 38 points in the 18 'pairs' final, had previously finished first and second respectively in the South Hereford Audi Invitational staged at Burghill Valley Golf Club in June before teaming up to claim second place in a regional final at The Celtic Manor in Newport, South Wales.

The Audi quattro Cup, being run for the 26th year, is the world’s largest amateur golf competition with almost 100,000 players from over 50 countries competing.
