FOUR Hereford Triathlon Club members were in action at the European Championships in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon.
In the sprint distance championship which features an 800m open water swim, 20km bike race and 5km run, Kirsty Mallindine and Joyce Warburton were in action for the GB age group team.
In the 45-49 age group, Warburton finished in 19th place in 1:21:36. In the 55-59 age group, meanwhile, Mallindine finished in 11th place in a time of 1:27:41.
In the standard distance championship - 1,500m open water swim, 40km bike, 10km run - James Richards finished in 12th place in the 40-44 age group in a time of 2:07:09, while Iain Darwood finished in 13th place in 2:07:51.
