STUDENTS from the Robert Owen Academy in Hereford have been learning technical skills at Leominster Golf Club.
Chris Morgan, chair of the trustees at the Academy, based in Blackfriars Street, invited Vincent Fish from the club to their new facilities and, from there, post-16 students Dylan O'Sullivan and Adam Mitchell have been working alongside greenkeeping staff.
"Leominster Golf Club have been delighted with the work and attitude of the students who have really added something to the organisation," said spokesman Heather Cass.
"The partnership between the club and the academy is one of a number of key partnerships that bring the world of work and learners closer together."
