LUCTONIANS Colts narrowly beat their Hereford counterparts 13-12 on Sunday.
Hereford took an early lead through a penalty from Bryn Goodall before a well-organised rolling maul gave the visitors a narrow lead at the break.
After the restart, both teams continued to play attacking rugby.
Goodall kicked over two more penalties to regain the lead for Hereford before a Lucs penalty reduced the deficit.
The match was then stopped after a Luctonians player was taken to hospital with a serious knee injury.
After the restart, a well-taken drop goal from Goodall put Hereford 12-8 ahead but some determined play from Lucs saw them convert a try and pick up the win.
