WESTFIELDS will end their 40th anniversary in style with a visit from the Aston Villa Old Stars on Sunday, May 6.

Several members of the Villa squad's European Cup winning side are likely to appear with the provisional line-up containing names such as Tony Morley, Gordon Cowans, Nigel Spink, Tony Daley, Ian Olney, Kenny Swain, Mark Walters, Des Bremner, Paul Birch and Allan Evans.

Westfields are also set to include a number of former players with strikers Gary Stevens and Paul Burton and Gloucester City forward Alex Sykes all named to turn out alongside senior members of the current squad.

"This will be a superb way to end what has been an eventful season," said Westfields chief executive Andy Morris. "I hope we will get plenty of support from our former players, our supporters, sponsors and Villa fans to enjoy an end of season fixture, raise money for an important charity and end our 40th anniversary season in style."

Monies raised from the match, which kicks-off at 2.30pm, will go to the Liver Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
