A NUMBER of the county's junior cricket teams have enjoyed recent successes.
Brockhampton's Under-13 boys are one of the top 10 clubs in the country in the age category and were runner-up in the NatWest U13 National Club Championship at Lullington Park, Derbyshire.
Brockhampton lost to Barnt Green after overcoming Staffordshire side Milford Hall in the semi-finals.
The team beat Cardiff to reach finals day and prior to that beat Bromyard in the Herefordshire final.
Meanwhile, Herefordshire Under-10's earned a rare win against a strong Worcestershire side.
Captain Luka Van Vuuran led by example by scoring a half century as Bromyard made 166.
Worcestershire could then only make 107-7 off their 35 overs, with Ben Deards (2-18) being the pick of the bowlers
And Herefordshire Under-15 girls have also made a great start to their season and are back in the ECB Cup.
Their latest win saw them beat Dorset at Garnons, with Isla Kendall top scoring with 27.
