WESTFIELDS opened their home Midlands Football League Premier Division with a convincing win over 10-man Lye.
The city side capitalised after Kallum Evitts was sent off for a two-footed challenge on Sam Gwynne 10 minutes before the interval.
After a goalless first period, Westfields made their numerical advantage pay off with four second-half goals.
Dene Whittal-Williams headed in a Tom Brock cross for the first before Tom Boyle tapped in the second.
Whittall-Williams laid the ball off for Craig Jones to score with a powerful drive before rounding off the scoring with another powerful header.
