ROSS Golf Club’s head professional Tim Hall has holed a prestigious national honour.

The 32-year-old has been named the new Foremost Professional-of-the-Year at the Foremost/PGA Golf Awards.

He has been with the Ross Club since April 2012 collected the honour at the golf industry trade show in Harrogate.

Hall has been an inspiration at the club gaining Golf Mark accreditation to develop junior golf and led to the implementation of ‘Academy Junior Status’.

He also embraced the ‘Get into Golf’ National Skills Challenge available to all levels and this has attracted new members to the club.

“It’s a massive honour to win the award and follow in the footsteps of some really great professionals,” said Hall.

“There were some fantastic professionals in the category and to get the award makes all the hard work worthwhile.”

Hall dedicated the award to the members at the golf club and his youthful team in the Tim Hall School of Golf.

“Ross members have appreciated and responded so well to having their needs individually identified and receiving tailormade recommendations to help them.”
