MULTIPLE winner Findlays Find regained winning ways at the re-arranged Ledbury Hunt point-to- point fixture at Maisemore Park on Sunday with a triumph in the Mixed Open race, writes Graham Saveker.

Sent off an uneasy favourite in the four-runner race, Findlays Find had to give best in the early stages to the front-running Nokarad De Verzee.

But once jockey Nick Williams had the favourite warmed up, the leader had no answer.

Findlays Find swept past the long-time leader at the second-last and the race was won.

Tsar Alexandre was sent off an odds-on favourite in the Restricted Open race but Welsh challenger Doc Wells triumphed with a round of more fluent jumping, with only two of the initial nine runners completing the course.

Ex- jockey David Dennis is now training at Feckenham and he sent out the potentially useful Presenting Will to take the final Maiden race in the hands of James Bargary.

Although only three horses went to post, Presenting Will beat the only other finisher Angolan Beat in the style of a good horse.
