THERE are plans to build forest cabins in the Mortimer Forest near Ludlow.
People are being invited to view the scheme at two open events next week.
The plans, which are supported and funded by Forest Holidays, one of the Forestry Commission’s long-standing partners, include 68 secluded Forest Holidays eco-cabins offering tranquil overnight stays. Plans include new and improved paths, trails and car parking; new public toilets and a new viewpoint overlooking the Welsh Hills and The Marches.
The exhibitions are on Tuesday, February 27 between 10am-12pm, 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Wigmore Village Hall and on Wednesday, February 28 between 10am-12pm, 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Ludlow Mascall Centre.
