A PEDESTRIAN has died after being hit by a lorry.
Police investigating the collision in Moreton-in-Marsh yesterday, Tuesday, February 18 are appealing for witnesses to establish how it happened.
The collision was reported at 1.40pm.
The pedestrian, a man in his eighties from Mickleton, suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
His next of kin has been informed.
The lorry driver, a man in his forties from Kent, was not physically injured.
High Street was closed for several hours to allow officers to conduct a full forensic investigation, and they would like to thank residents of Moreton-in-Marsh and motorists affected by this for their patience.
They would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, and has not already spoken to police, or has dash-cam footage which would help with inquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to call Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101 quoting incident 206 of 18 February.
