IF Jamie Knight and The Manuka Band are your sort of musical honey, and if you live in or near Worcester, then you are probably in luck.

A Christmas date has been lined up for the Huntingdon Hall, to help the festive season go with a swing.

A spokesman said: “Renowned local musician Jamie Knight makes a welcome return to Huntingdon Hall this year with the Manuka Band, performing another evening of Christmas hits, the best in swing, a groove of soul, classic pop and plenty of lively rock ‘n’ roll!

“This tight band knows how to make music really come alive for a truly memorable night.”

Jamie said: “I’ve had a really busy year performing with the Manuka Band, but of all the venues and different genres of music we play, the annual Christmas Show at Huntingdon Hall is my favourite.

“As ever, we’ll be playing a selection of popular Christmas songs plus a mixture of swing and pop classics.”

The seven-piece Manuka Band combines an eclectic mix of sax, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, drums and, of course, “Jamie’s rich and inimitable vocal, featuring a line-up of highly experienced musicians”.

|A wide range of music influences can also be expected, with walks down several and distinct musical Memory Lanes on the cards.

So what exactly is being promised?

The spokesman said: “With a repertoire ranging from classic swing through 60s rock ‘n’ roll and 70s and 80s pop hits right up to present day chart toppers, Jamie Knight and the Manuka Band are guaranteed to rock your socks off.

“Each year he adds fresh new tracks to his set; so what will they be this time? Well you’ll have to come along to find out.

“A fantastic festive night out, this show is sure to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. Start your Christmas with Jamie Knight!”

The show takes place on Saturday, December 22, at 7.30pm.
