A POTENTIAL witness police wanted to talk to for the Christian Bagley murder investigation has come forward.
Officers released details last week of a man they wanted to speak to who had been seen entering Costcutter on Belmont Road at just after 11.30pm on the night before Christian's murder - Saturday June 20, 2015.
Detective chief inspector Leighton Harding said: "As a result of a public appeal we carried out on social media last week we have spoken to this potential witness. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank him for coming forward and to the public who shared our appeal.
"Speaking to this man was just one line of enquiry we continue to follow as we strive to find answers for Christian's family and to bring the person or people responsible to justice."
