West Mercia Police were called to the Three Counties Hotel in Hereford this evening.
Officers attended after a caravan drove onto the hotel's grounds off Belmont Road.
However, a force spokeswoman said police officers have passed the matter on to the hotel's own security team.
Witnesses reported on social media that people, driving a number of other caravans, were trying to enter the site but hotel staff said the incident was not a serious one when contacted by the Hereford Times.
