A HORSE had to be sedated and removed from an overturned horse box following a crash on the main Hereford to Worcester road yesterday.
Emergency services were called near the New Inn pub in Storridge at 2.30pm.
A vet was called to sedate the horse in the box, which was on its side.
The crash involved two vehicles, but no one needed hospital treatment.
Meanwhile, two cars were in collision on the A49 in Peterstow at the same time.
Two people required hospital treatment after sustaining minor injuries.
