A FORMER member of Leominster's Conservative party has announced he is to stand as an Independent in May's local elections.
Benson Ferrari will contest the Leominster South seat, working with fellow Independent Peter McCaull.
Mr Ferrari left the Tories a few months back over their "failure to deal with the serious issue of expenses and numerous other matters within the county".
