The Hay-on-Wye Picnic and Play Day is back by popular demand and taking place at Hayfield Community Garden tomorrow (July 8).
There will be free family events from 12pm to 4.30pm, including games with Paul Hartley, face-painting, basket making, crafts, nature art and live music.
For budding gardeners there will be a tour of the garden by Hayfield Garden volunteer Phoebe Boulanger. Compost loos will be on site with wheelchair access.
Julia Roberts from Fairtrade Hay, event organisers said: "We hope this will be a wonderful fun afternoon for the community, of all ages, to enjoy.
"We'd like to thank Ros and Geoff Garrett and the Hayfield Garden team for allowing us to use this beautiful area and to all the volunteers who have made this event possible."
