AM I the only person in Hereford who is concerned by Herefordshire Council’s commitment to borrowing £27 million for ‘essential’ link road funding?
I certainly don’t want my council tax to be used towards a potential road for a project that many people across the county do not want or require. And especially as the £80m for the ESG project is slow in coming due to ‘difficult national development market’.
I know this buoy has been around a number of times; only the council’s dogmatic attitude and deafness to the county’s wishes means it should be visited time and time again until the council realise that what Hereford needs is development of the existing shopping areas (maybe with a roof over High Town) and not a monstrosity that still hasn’t secured one signature to its floor space.
