SOME of you may have noticed a certain amount of disruption around Hereford lately while Welsh Water digs up the roads to install the new water mains.
At the risk of offending the odd impatient motorist I would like to thank the guys actually doing the work. They have been out there in all weathers for long hours sorting out our long term water supply and I think they have been making a pretty neat job of it.
I for one would not want to work so close to all the traffic with a digger but they seem fine with it.
Opposite my house at How Caple they had to dig through a significant rock outcrop which they did in such a way that you would now hardly know they had been there.
If only the council could do its roadworks so efficiently. But that is another story!
