As a volunteer with Community Wheels I should like to reply to the letter printed on January 28. Community Wheels is a charity and has been running throughout the pandemic, providing transport services to hospital and surgery appointments for the local community.
This is a vital and important service for those elderly and vulnerable people who need transport in this area, The service is especially needed at the present time for those people who have Covid vaccination appointments.
I have driven several people in the last few weeks who would not have been able to receive their vaccinations without help from Community Wheels.
