As a 73-year-old I look forward to getting my Covid jab by mid-February – hopefully the government can make sure they keep the supply of the vaccine coming in to meet their targets.
I realise there are quite a few large hubs, which are fine in urban areas, but we need our local doctors’ surgeries and pharmacies who are already used to giving the flu jab in the more rural areas.
In particular, it would make travel easier for the older generation and people with underlying problems.
By having more spread out vaccination stations locally (and with no delay in the supply) I believe we could even get ahead of the government’s target.
