MY mother, Heather Taylor, and I would like to take the opportunity to thank all those people involved when my father, Leon, collapsed in High Town on February 13. Many people rushed to his aid, and I believe he was assisted by members of the public and then paramedics.
I would particularly like to thank the two ladies who comforted my mother, contacted me and waited for me to arrive, even after he had gone to hospital.
Unfortunately my father's condition was non-reversible, but it has been a comfort to us to know that every possible attempt was made to help. People are there when you need them.
L PAYNE, Stretton Sugwas.
