I WOULD like to thank the two unknown ladies who came to my assistance and summoned a paramedic when I tripped and fell in Widemarsh Street, Hereford, on March 4. Fortunately, I was not seriously hurt.
From my enquiries , I gather this is a common occurrence in this street due to the slight difference in surface levels etc and I have written to Balfour Beatty to complain but have not had a reply.
What action does the council plan to take to remedy this obvious hazard as I understand there have been 41 falls in 15 months?
C WHIFFEN Heysham, Morecambe
