HOW lucky we are to have an excellent farmers’ market in Hereford every week but how short-sighted it is of the council to charge such high rents for the stall holders and put the market’s very existence into jeopardy.
To be able to buy fresh produce from our county in the city centre is lucky indeed and means that we don’t have to increase car traffic by going out to the farm shops.
What a brilliant service the market is to us all. Let’s keep it that way.
