TREBERVA Fruit Farm lies just a stone's throw from the A49 between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye, but at Colley Wells you could easily be forgiven for thinking you are miles from the busy road.

The working farm covers 100 acres of glorious Herefordshire countryside, with apple and pear orchards at every turn.

On Sunday, May 20, the public will have the rare opportunity to explore these stunning grounds when Colley Wells opens as part of the St Michael's Hospice Open Gardens season.

The garden was created from scratch in 2014 and includes small slate and gravel gardens, a vegetable garden within old barn walls and wildlife pond and some surprises.

You can take a walk beyond this to a lake before strolling around more orchards, through a nut platt, over a bridge crossing another small lake before returning to enjoy tea and homemade cake in the garden.

Visitors may be lucky enough to enjoy a blossom walk should it be in bloom.

Follow signs to the farm from the A49 at Much Birch.
