The Friends of St Andrew’s 100 Club draw took place in the Red Lion Inn on Thursday, November 7th Philip Bauer won the first, first prize of £50 with ticket number 2.Second prize of £25 was won by Hilary Blandford with ticket number 58. Laura Matthews won third prize of £15 with ticket number 138. The ‘In It To Win It’ prize of £10 was won by Nigel Sellar.The numbers were drawn by Nigel and Charlotte Sellar.
The Rev. Luci Morriss was presented with a cheque for £1,500 - the money raised by the club this year for our village church, St. Andrew's. Part of this is to be spent completing the kitchen project in the Church, and the remainder will pay for the final section of the dry stone retaining wall around the churchyard.
As always, a very happy evening was spent in the Red Lion, with curry and chips - thanks to Mike and the team.
The next draw is on Thursday, December 5th and, as usual, it takes place at 8pm in the Red Lion Inn, which opens at 6:30pm and serves a curry buffet every draw night. Contact Jen Maddison on 01981 500048 for details and further information about the club.
