IN spring of this year brothers Jack and Oliver Morris planted some sunflower seeds in their grandmother's garden in Lyonshall.
Little did they know then what an impressive surprise lay in store.
Most of their crop grew tall and to a normal size, however there was one notable exception.
One of the sunflowers grew into the giant pictured. It is 14 inches in diameter and quite heavy to lift.
Jack and Oliver's grandmother Jennifer Morris said "This is the largest head I have ever seen and the plant drooped under the weight".
