A HEREFORD café is hoping to reward customers with loyalty points this year.

Edison's Coffee Shop has been based in the city for 20 years, with its shop situated in Rotherwas Industrial Estate, near Greggs.

It also has three food vans that serve people across the county, with two further ones due to be on the road soon.

"We've got one that's round here, one that goes to Leominster and one that does the north side of Hereford," said James Surrey, owner of Edison's Coffee Shop.

"The vans have been going for about six years. The Leominster one is about two years old and we've got another two that we're going to put out in the next couple of months.

"We try and have specials on for those periods and other day-to-day specials such as soups and lasagne.

"We're just trying to put a new system in place, certainly for the vans, where you can build loyalty points. That's a work in progress.

"We've got the market where workers need to eat so we try and price ourselves in that bracket, certainly with the vans."
