A NEW barbers is to open in the south of Hereford.
Best Trim Barbers is situated near Asda in Belmont, where the former Friar Tuck chip and shop was based.
Hiwa Sarda, who used to own Hereford Hair Salon on Commercial Road, is taking on the premises.
"It will probably open on April 20 because we have an electrican coming on the 17th to fit in a meter," said Mr Sarda, who has been a barber for 15 years.

"I'm really looking forward to opening as soon as possible. At the moment, we've got no competition and we're the only barbers at that part of Hereford.
"From talking to people that side of Hereford, they're so excited to get a shop there."
Mr Sarda says that all hair styles will be catered for, with discounts for pensioners and students. He currently has two people working for him, but is looking to expand the team.
