CHURCH - Some members of Almeley Church choir will be taking part in the Hereford Diocesan Choirs Festival in Hereford Cathedral on Saturday at 5.30pm.
HARVEST FESTIVAL - This year the festival in St Mary’s Church will be tomorrow (Friday) at 7pm. The service will be followed by a bringand- share supper in the church.
QUAKERS - On October 27 from 10.30am everyone is invited to the historic Meeting House at Almeley Wooton for the Friends’ annual coffee morning. There will also be a variety of stalls, plants and compost.
COFFEE - The annual Macmillan coffee morning, organised by members of Almeley Women’s Institute, was held in St Mary’s Church and raised a total of £210.
FLICKS IN THE STICKS - On October 25, the classic Wuthering Heights (PG) will be screened in the village hall.
