CHARITY EVENING - A Sausage, Cider and Ale evening will be held in aid of NSPCC Herefordshire at Longtown Village Hall on October 19 at 7.30pm with music by LYNY, a bar and raffle. Tickets are £6, to include supper, from Carol Powell on 01873 860550.
HARVEST MARKET - Dore Abbey will host a harvest market on October 13 from 10am to 4pm. Stalls will be selling local vegetables, meat, homemade bread, cakes and chutney.
Also contemporary arts with jewellery, scarves, hats, textiles, pottery and candles will be on sale.
