Credenhill CANTER - The organising committee of the Credenhill Canter agreed wholeheartedly with promoting the Olympic and Paralympic theme at the event on the afternoon of bank holiday Monday, August 26. People are being asked to bring along their Union flags to celebrate Britain's achievements in the Olympics and to wish every success to our Paralympic team the following week. The local runners will be trying to raise as much money as possible towards the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) and hopefully they will be seen off and welcomed back by a host of waving union flags. As well as runners volunteers are still needed to act as marshalls manning the route and directing runners, as well as helping out with events in the area surrounding the community centre and the Roman Park.
