AN exhibition of work by the world-famous anthroposophical painter Gerard Wagner is on show at Sheildbrook Studio in Kings Caple from Monday.

There have been exhibitions of Wagner's delicate watercolours at the Waterloo Gallery and Rudolf Steiner House in London earlier in the year and so it is with great excitement that owner, Sue Locke anticipates this event, which celebrates the artist's centenary.

There will be an introductory talk about Wagner's work given by the exhibition's curator and Wagner expert, Robert Lord, tomorrow (Friday) evening at 7.30pm and a painting workshop on metamorphosis - a key theme in Wagner's work - on October 28 and 29, from 10am to 4.30pm.

To book for the workshops, call Sue on 01432 840670. The exhibition, titled Plant Motifs, continues to December 3.
