FRIENDS OF Eardisley CHURCH - The annual meeting is in St Mary Magdalene Church on August 10 starting at 7.30pm. New members will be made very welcome. METHODIST CHURCH - Preachers for the 11am services will be Mr F Hooley (this week), Mr A Williams (August 12) and Rev J Chapman (August 19).

LIBRARY - Eardisley Community Library, in the village hall, adds a further selection of books each month. The next meeting will be on August 28, starting at 2pm. New members will be very welcome.

LITTLE THEATRE - This popular village group will be staging its annual pantomime from November 28 until December 1. This year it will be Robinson Crusoe. The group is looking for a pianist/musical director. Rehearsals start in September. Anyone interested should call Claire Wood on 01544 327448.

MILLENNIUM GREEN - The annual meeting is in the village hall at 7.30pm on August 13.

PACT MEETING - On August 16, members of the local policing team will be at Eardisley Central Stores from 12.30pm until 1.30pm for residents to voice any policing concerns.

TENNIS - Congratulations to Toby Watts who came first in the mini green tournament at Eardisley Tennis Club and well done to all the other participants who came on the day.
